Houston Elite Frazier Finds Future Family at Penn State.
Throughout the recruiting process, Tim
Frazier wanted to check every nook and
cranny of each school looking hard at
him. The athletic 6-foot-2, 160-pound
guard from Strake Jesuit High School in
Houston started taking his official
visits and had a third planned for this
upcoming weekend. But the more Frazier
thought about things, one program
continued to come to the forefront so
Thursday morning he decided to shut down
his recruitment.
"Tim is going to Penn State," said
Houston Elite AAU head coach Rick
Nelson. "He was supposed to go to
Stanford this weekend and he was
originally adamant about doing that, but
at the same time Penn State had been
recuiting him for so long. They've been
down here every week and they've treated
us all like family. He decided that he
felt like he was already part of the
team so I told him to follow his heart.
He decided that Penn State was the best
fit and he called to tell them that this
morning."
Frazier additionally confirmed himself
that he was off the recruiting board but
was unable to give further comment.
TexasHoops.com plans on touching base
with him later on to discuss his
decision so be sure to stay tuned
