It's no secret that colleges across the country are
searching far and wide for interior prospects in the Class
of 2008. With big names off the board and only a few high
major impact bigs remaining, the search is on for the
"sleepers" or surprise bigs who can make a difference at the
next level. Texas is always an area with tons of talent and
6'8" Class of 2008 Dwight Miller is a guy getting a lot of
interest and offers in recent weeks as many schools are
pegging him as the big they want.
Miller, who rocked a Houston Elite jersey this summer,
attends St. Pius in Houston, Texas. At 6'8" Miller is a
solid athlete who can run the floor rebound and score around
the basket. Built with an excellent frame and solid length,
Miller has all the physical tools to become a solid player
at the next level and his skill set away from the basket is
still raw so there is plenty of room for him to continue to
develop as a player!
He'll have the opportunity to make a huge statement at the
Texas High School Jamboree November 23-24, 2007 as he's
scheduled to take on Greg Monroe and Louisiana Helen Cox
that weekend. Monroe is one of the top 5 prospects in the
country on every board and highly regarded as the top PF
prospect in the nation.
